His Majesty Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, announced the five -year tourism visa scheme in March 2021 during the cabinet session. The first visa is released immediately after that.
Sheikh Mohammed tweeted, “During the cabinet meeting that I lead, we approve of new long -distance work visas that allow employees from all over the world to live and work remotely from the UAE even if their company is based in other countries.”
He added, “We also approve multi-entry tourist visas for all nationality to strengthen the status of the UAE as a global economic capital.”
