JOB DESCRIPTION

Overview: As a crucial component of our engineering team, you will take on the job of an

home software expert, fully understanding the entire system from start to finish. Your

Primary responsibilities will include proactively leading the team by completing activities that

require specialised skill, which frequently precedes their workflow. Your daily activities may

span from optimising the build system in the morning to creating an embedded device driver in C.

By noon, to prototype an In-Vehicle Infotainment (IVI) application utilising Flutter by the end of

Curiosity, fast learning, and adeptness at adapting to new skills and technologies.

Minimum requirements:

Proficiency in embedded systems, with over 8 years of experience in related jobs.

Strong understanding of build tools, automation, CI/CD pipelines, code generation, and

Developer workflow.

Proficient in programming languages such as C, C++, and Python.

Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Ability to work autonomously while balancing speed and quality.

Flexibility and empathy, especially when exploring and adding to existing code

bases.

Preferred requirements:

Experience in safety-critical programmes, adhering to standards such as ISO 26262, DO-178,

or similar.

Familiarity with automotive tools and comprehension of diagnostic standards such as UDS

DoIP.

Strong understanding of networking protocols like Ethernet, CAN, LIN, I2C, SPI, ADC, UART, and Wi-Fi.

BLE.

Understanding of real-time operating systems such as FreeRTOS/SafeRTOS, Linux, and QNX.
