Newly Qualified Social Worker (Children’s Services)

Suffolk County Council – Various Locations Across Suffolk | Hybrid Working

  • Salary: £34,434 rising to £37,280 per year (pro rata for part-time)
  • Contract: Permanent | Full-time or Part-time
  • Additional Payments: £1,500 joining bonus + £4,000 retention payment on successful completion of ASYE

Who We Are Looking For

To join us, you’ll need:

  • A recognised social work qualification
  • Social Work England registration
  • A full UK driving licence and access to transport (or alternative ability to meet mobility requirements)

We have Newly Qualified Social Worker vacancies within our children’s social care teams, including work involving s17 and s47 assessments, child in need, and child protection plans. Please share your preferred Suffolk location in your application.
