With a Nestlé Internship, you will gain significant hands-on experience, mentoring, and practical training in a professional environment relevant to your topic of study.
You’ll experience firsthand how we address real-world business challenges across our value chain, acquiring insights that can help you advance in your career.
Internships often last one to six months, depending on the project.

Apprenticeships
Nestlé apprenticeships combine real, paid work experience with classroom education.
These two- to three-year programmes, which focus on technical or vocational issues, can prepare you for a successful career while also developing your soft skills and professionalism.
Nestlé offers a wide selection of apprenticeship plans at various levels, each of which provides considerable prospects in our organisations.

R&D PhD programme
The R&D PhD programme prepares students to conduct independent experimental research in various food-related disciplines, including material science, safety and quality, packaging, sustainability, and nutrition and health.
The programme is available at Nestlé R&D centres worldwide and offers two routes.
The student can pursue an external PhD through a relationship between Nestlé and an academic institution, including short assignments at Nestlé. The second, internal approach allows the student to remain linked with an academic institution while being hired as a company employee and co-supervised by an external academic professor and a Nestlé scientist.

That’s why we developed the Nestlé needs YOUth programme. It focuses on three areas to provide young people with the skills they need to prosper in tomorrow’s workplaces:
1) Assisting young people in finding work and developing skills; 2) Assisting young entrepreneurs in starting and growing businesses; 3) Promoting ‘agripreneurship’ to enable young people earn a living through agriculture.

Other programmes
Nesternships
Nesternships are “semi-virtual” paid internships in which you work on real-life Nestlé projects from home. They will help you improve your digital abilities, entrepreneurial attitude, and ability to deal with various scenarios. Nesternships are an addition to normal Nestlé internships, allowing you to work in our offices as needed.
Availability: Europe, Middle East, Africa, Oceania, and Asia.
Management Trainee Programme
This 18-24-month programme develops people into future Nestlé leaders with three elements: experience, networks, and education. It’s an interactive learning experience that provides you a comprehensive understanding of our company and how it operates.
Availability: United States, Indonesia, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, and Africa.
Graduate Trainee Programme
This two- to three-year rotational programme advances the careers of selected candidates. Throughout the programme, you will have the opportunity to work in several roles in your region, such as IT, Marketing, Sales, HR, Supply Chain, Finance, Nutrition, or Digital Manufacturing, and receive coaching and learning opportunities.
