Role Overview: Web Editor
As a Web Editor within the Student Recruitment Marketing team, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining the university’s website. Your goal will be to ensure it remains user-friendly, accessible, and engaging, aligning with Ravensbourne’s brand and messaging while catering to various stakeholders’ needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Website Management: Oversee website maintenance to ensure legal compliance, accuracy, and consistency in branding and style.
- Content Efficiency: Develop processes to streamline content updates.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Act as the main contact for website-related queries across the university.
- UI/UX Optimization: Implement best practices to enhance user experience and information architecture.
- Content Oversight: Prepare, publish, and oversee content, ensuring quality through copywriting, sub-editing, and proofreading.
- External Coordination: Manage relationships with web design consultants and external agencies, ensuring efficient communication and value for money.
- SEO Strategy: Support the development of an effective SEO strategy to bolster marketing initiatives.
- Performance Reporting: Use analytics tools like Google Analytics to improve user experience and conversion rates.
- Training: Organize and deliver CMS platform training for staff.
- Project Management: Coordinate major content uploads and audits, ensuring stakeholder alignment and quality assurance.
