Job Description




Kin On is a non-profit organisation that has been active in the Asian community for over 35 years. Kin On’s objective is to provide culturally and linguistically appropriate healthcare services in a healthy living environment in order to honour, support, and advocate for our Asian seniors and families. Kin On runs an age-friendly campus that includes a nursing home and supportive housing. Kin On also provides Home Care, Social Services, and Healthy Living programmes to Asian seniors in our community.




  • Residents should get direct nursing care that meets their physical and emotional needs.


  • Supervise NA-C to ensure clinical treatment matches the changing requirements of residents.


  • Check medication cards for accuracy and completion before administering medication.


  • In charge of resident admission and discharge planning


  • For infection control, adhere to specified isolation methods.


  • Prepare a care plan and, as appropriate, revise it on an ongoing basis.


  • Attend the resident health care conference.


  • Keep progress notes, make summary reports, and keep resident care records.


  • Observe, analyse, and keep correct documentation for compliance and record keeping.


  • Attend meetings as needed and perform other duties as assigned by the Resident Care Manager.





  • Education: Graduated from an authorised nursing education programme.


  • Hold and be able to continuously renew an RN licence through the Washington State Board of Nursing on the day of hire.


  • Experience with IV/PICC is necessary.


  • An understanding of the Electronic Health Record System is preferred.


  • As the population served includes the elderly, a soft sympathetic, empathic disposition with good communication skills is sought.


  • A person in this job must be able to effectively interact with residents and their families, often over complex medical issues.




  • Pay range: $41.00 – $51.00 per hour
