LCP Delta is searching for a Head of Storage to play a critical role in developing our established presence in the energy storage business, allowing for faster development in energy storage revenues while assisting the sector in becoming a thriving component of the European energy transition.

LCP Delta’s Storage Offerings

LCP Delta has established itself as the leader in storage, with:

  • A powerful battery revenue forecasting practice that supports both purchase and sell sides in energy storage transactions in the GB market. This is currently accessible as both a consulting service and through STOREcast, a software-as-a-service provider.

 

  • We have a strong position in the GB intra-day and day-ahead data and analytics industry thanks to our Enact technology, which allows us to assist the storage sector in improving battery revenues and measuring optimiser performance.

 

  • STOREtrack, a project database of over 3,000 storage projects in Europe (both operational and in development), provides detailed information on each project.

 

  • The Energy Storage Research Service, a subscription research product, provides insight and analysis into how energy storage is growing in several European regions. This Service includes the European Energy Storage Market Monitor, which is issued together with the European Association for Energy Storage.

 

  • An good track record of providing evidence and analysis to the UK government to support the formulation of storage policy.

 

LCP Delta’s revenue forecasting capabilities has now expanded beyond the United Kingdom and Ireland to include continental Europe. We have previously assisted due diligence on a major energy storage venture in Benelux and collaborated with one of the leading lenders to assess potential in the Spanish market.

The primary goal of this post is to propel LCP Delta to a leadership position in the European energy storage industry by establishing and implementing a robust go-to-market strategy to rapidly increase our influence, revenues, and position in the sector.

 

What are you going to be doing?

  • Strategic messaging, networking, and thought leadership will help LCP Delta establish itself as a prominent authority in European energy storage.
  • Leading business development activities, from acquiring new accounts to nurturing existing ones, and overseeing lead creation and relationship management.
  • In charge of storage-related income spanning subscription products and consultancy, overseeing a diverse pipeline of prospects.
  • Creating and implementing comprehensive strategies and roadmaps for our storage offerings, based on market data and competitor analysis
  • Ensure consistency and quality throughout our various energy storage efforts.
  • Take overall responsibility for the strategy and direction of our energy storage efforts.

What qualifications, experience, and traits are we seeking for?

  • You should have an established network within the UK and European energy storage sectors, and ideally in the larger energy transition arena.
  • Be acknowledged as an expert in the energy storage business.
  • Excellent organisation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
  • Have a strong awareness of the energy storage market, including its major difficulties, opportunities, and challenges.
  • Be familiar with the responsibilities and activities that our products and consulting services supply, gained by either using or offering them.
  • Proven track record of identifying business opportunities and successfully closing contracts.
  • Excellent commercial acumen.
  • Be extremely driven by pushing the energy transition ahead.
