MB Chicken, Canada has opened its first restaurant outside of Canada in Lisburn, Northern Ireland. We have rapid expansion ambitions for the brand in Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland.

We are searching for experienced Assistant Restaurant Managers to work alongside and support the Restaurant Manager. We are seeking a career-oriented applicant to join our team.

Reports to the Restaurant Manager.

 

Job Summary:

At MB Chicken, the Assistant Manager plays an important role in assisting the Restaurant Manager in ensuring the restaurant’s daily operations run well. This job helps to manage the team, uphold customer service standards, maintain quality, and promote profitability. A strong combination of leadership, communication skills, and commitment to providing excellent customer service is required.

 

Key responsibilities:

Operating Support:

Assist the Restaurant Manager with regular restaurant operations.
Maintain Mary Brown’s operating standards and practices.
Keep track of food quality, presentation, and safety parameters.
Help manage inventories and ensure timely restocking.

 

Team Management and Development:

Assist in hiring, training, and supervising restaurant employees.
Assist with staff scheduling to guarantee the best coverage.
Contribute to team training and development programmes.
Address and resolve any staff issues or conflicts.

 

Customer Service Excellence:

Collaborate to guarantee that consumers constantly have a great eating experience.
Assist in providing timely and professional responses to consumer feedback or issues.
Contribute to initiatives for increasing overall customer satisfaction.

 

Financial oversight:

Assist in tracking the restaurant’s financial data and performance.
Contribute to cost-cutting measures and profitability objectives.
Analyse sales trends and make recommendations for revenue growth.

 

Compliance and Safety:

Ensure compliance with local rules as well as company policy.
Participate in safety protocols and guarantee employee compliance.
Oversee the correct storage and handling of food products.

 

Qualifications:

  • Prior experience as a manager or supervisor in the food service business.
  • Demonstrated leadership and team management skills.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Understanding of food safety rules and best practices.
  • Collaborative spirit and capacity to operate well in a team setting.

 

Job Type: Full-Time

Annual salary ranges from £25,000 to £28,000.
