About the role
The Educational assistance Services Team at the School of Life Sciences is looking for a committed professional to provide high-quality administrative assistance for the School’s Postgraduate Research Degrees.
The postholder will collaborate closely with the PGR Programmes Officer and play an active role in supporting day-to-day activities.
Primarily, this includes:
- Maintenance of Student Records
- Monitoring Student Engagement and Progress
- Serving as the first point of contact for prospective and current students.
- Coordinating PGR admissions processes, including scholarship applications.
- Supporting the planning, organisation, and delivery of events
- Providing committee secretarial support.

About You

You will have a good experience in administration and the use of Office software, be able to work successfully under pressure, learn new systems/processes as needed, and interact effectively with a diverse group of people.
You will be confident in your ability to operate flexibly with significant autonomy and collaboratively within a team. To move many projects forward at the same time, excellent organisational abilities will be essential.
