Salary: Up to £30,000 annually.

Linden Tree Nursery Schools is a chain of tiny, Frobelian nursery schools in Clapham that have been providing early years education to children aged 6 months to 5 years since 2005.

To expand the profile of the Froebelian approach, we will establish a network of local Froebelian nursery schools that provide young children with a high-quality early childhood education given by competent and qualified teachers.

Linden Tree Nursery Schools is looking for a full-time permanent (Qualified) early years room leader to join our devoted, varied, and nurturing team in South London, where we have three schools.
Your primary tasks will include:
Creating and maintaining a safe learning environment in which children can learn naturally via their interests and activities.
Leading a room and assisting personnel to implement Froebelian practice
Be responsible for the room and reach the targets set by your management.
Encourage strong interactions among your team, children, and families.
Communicate effectively with families about their children’s growth through documentation and learning stories.
Ensure that all staff understand protection and health and safety policies relevant to their role and implement procedures properly.
Requirements and Skills:
A Level 3 full and relevant qualification in childcare, such as EYE, NVQ, CACHE or a certified equivalent
A excellent working grasp of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).

A excellent working grasp of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
Experience working in a nursery.
The ability to work in the UK and a clear enhanced DBS
Experience supervising a nursery room.
Experience with safeguarding and health and safety rules and procedures in a childcare setting
The right to work in the UK and a clear enhanced DBS check (visa sponsorship considered for QTS trained teachers).
