JOB DESCRIPTION

 

We’re looking for an experienced international registered nurse with neuro and/or spinal rehabilitation experience in an inpatient setting to join the team on our Neuro Rehabilitation Ward at The Wellington Hospital, the largest private hospital in the UK and currently rated ‘Good’ by the CQC.

 

We’re London’s largest neurosciences unit, which means we can care for patients with a wide range of difficult neurological problems and deliver sophisticated, specialised care – and you’ll be part of the team that makes it possible.

 

This is an exciting and challenging profession; the abilities necessary are based on expertise managing this particular patient group as well as a strong evidence base.
The staff nurse will collaborate with the Multidisciplinary Team to provide high-quality, innovative nursing care in accordance with the HCA mission and vision, as well as national norms and standards in spinal and neuro rehabilitation.

They will actively assist the nursing and therapy teams in providing great patient care in accordance with the HCA purpose and values.

 

 

 

What you’ll bring:

 

  • Work experience in spinal and/or neuro rehabilitation

 

  • Tracheostomy patients’ exposure

 

  • Significant nursing experience after registration

 

  • Outstanding verbal and written communication abilities

 

  • A strong mastery of written and spoken English

 

  • Working experience in a healthcare interdisciplinary team

 

  • The ability to do manual handling tasks

 

  • Capable of working a flexible shift schedule, including weekends and nights

 

  • Work experience in the private sector

 

  • Desirable Arabic fluency

 

You also need the following:

 

  • Passed an English Level Exam (at the NMC necessary level) – this might be IELT/OET or coming from a predominantly English-speaking nation.

 

  • NMC PRN Code

 

  • CBT completed at Adults NMC Branch
