JOB DESCRIPTION

 

 

  • Qualified Teacher
  • Location: North Yorkshire’s Scarborough
  • Pay: £30,000 to £46,525 for MPS/UPS3
    every year
  • Full-time job contract

What a qualified teacher does and how they do it:

 

  • Make sure the programme is interesting, right for the students’ ages, and meets their many different learning needs while following national and local educational standards.

 

  • Give good lessons using a range of teaching methods to fit students’ different learning styles and levels of ability.

 

  • Make and give tests to see how much students understand and how far they’ve come. Give them timely and helpful comments to help them learn.

 

  • Recognise and meet each student’s specific learning needs by giving them extra help or chances to learn more.

 

  • Work with the school staff to make sure that your teaching methods are consistent, to share resources, and to create projects that combine your subject with those of other subjects.

 

 

 

What a qualified teacher must have:

 

  • Have Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or another valid teaching certificate in the UK.

 

  • Must have taught for at least two years in the last two years.

 

  • Be able to get people interested in and excited about the subject.

 

  • Show that you understand the subject well and can handle bad behaviour well.

 

  • dedication to keeping children safe and looking out for the well-being of students.

 

  • Do you have a Child Only DBS that is listed with the update service? If not, you can apply for one with GSL Education. For this job, DBS sponsorship is possible.
