Working Patterns

We are searching for somebody to work primarily in the mornings or evenings for two or three weekdays each week, plus alternate weekends. If you wish to have more full-time hours, you might mix the two.

Depending on your desired income, you would work two or three weekdays per week, plus alternative weekends.

Please keep in mind that this work will need you to visit clients in various areas. Although we try to keep the distance between clients to a minimum, the role can only be completed if you are an active cyclist or have your own vehicle and live in the Reading region.

Care Professional Responsibilities:

This is a highly gratifying career where no two days are same! With minimum 1 hour care visits and client matching, you have enough time to give high-quality, person-centered care. Prior experience with the job is not required. We discover that many people bring transferable abilities from prior jobs and caring for family members.

Duties may include:

• Companionship – ensuring that a client has regular and meaningful social connection is a key aspect of your visit.
• Assist with common duties like meal preparation and basic housework.
• Accompanying to appointments and shopping
• Personal care include providing our customers with necessities like bathing, washing, dressing, and grooming in order to keep them healthy and independent.

Qualifications

There are no formal qualifications required, although we appreciate any transferable experience you may have.

Additional Information

Requirements:

• Driving licence and vehicle
• Ability to work alternate weekends.

This employment is in the United Kingdom, thus you must live within a reasonable travel distance to Reading.
