Manager of Buying Groups Accounts
Field-based position serving the South of England (London, South East, South West, and Wales), with occasional travel to our Gatwick office as needed by the company (1-2 days per month).
Salary of between £35,000 and £40,000, depending on experience, with a car, a bonus, and other wonderful advantages

Position Summary
Notwithstanding the possibility that we are biased, we think the Nestlé Sales team is an excellent and distinctive place to work. We have an exciting opportunity for an Account Manager to join our Buying Group team at Nestlé Professional and lead, manage, and grow a portfolio of key Buying Group Customers, driving performance of the Buying Group wholesalers, and providing strategic analytical support to the Business Team lead. This is due to some exciting business wins as well as additional opportunities.
In this high-profile position, you will have the chance to advance our outstanding food and beverage portfolio, which includes pertinent solutions for all significant foodservice industries. With our Garden Gourmet Foodservice line, you will also play a significant part in advancing and expanding the newly emerging and quickly expanding Plant Based sector.

Our business-to-business food service division, Nestlé Professional (NP), focuses on the OOH solutions market. NP is an ambitious growth engine for Nestlé and performs successfully in a significant market. The team’s goal is to encourage growth in our partners by offering branded, innovative solutions that aid in the expansion of our customers’ businesses, ultimately boosting traffic and their profit.
A day in the life of an account manager….
In your capacity as Account Manager, you will be directly responsible for implementing the Purchasing Group strategy in target customers along with RTM Field Sales and Beverage & Food CBUs.
Your key responsibilitiess will include:
● Deliver important business goals and increase wholesaler/buying group customer sales in accordance with the buying groups’ plan.
● Create joint business plans and investment strategies for customers.
● Promote penetration and other business development strategies across the NP portfolio in accordance with the Purchasing Group strategy, strategic priorities, and regional market peculiarities.
● Develop a solid activation (including digital) and customer plan in collaboration with the Activation team to provide value to the customer execution.
● In order to accomplish company goals, evaluate the performance of key stakeholders, including customers, and devise corrective or accelerating actions.
● Assist the creation and implementation of foodservice category strategies.
● Provide customer feedback and use channels to input categories to drive the Larger, Bolder, and Better innovation and renovation needed to win.
● Work closely with the Field Sales team to ensure that the Buying Group strategy is carried out within RTM. Assist the RTM Field Sales teams as needed to promote growth in the top channels delivered by RTM.
What Will You Need to Succeed?
You must be passionate, tenacious, results-oriented, and enjoy working in a highly stimulating environment if you want to be successful. You should also have a ton of excellent sales experience under your belt.
The following abilities & experience will also be present in you:
● A track record of successful sales in the FMCG and foodservice industries
● An advantage would be having experience managing buying groups and wholesalers.
● successfully achieving KPIs, particularly in terms of top-line and bottom-line business results
● Developed Customer Key Account management skills that are centered on advancing Joint Business strategies in a top-to-bottom manner between the Customer and a Nestlé Professional
● The capacity to “connect the dots,” analyze large amounts of data, and derive insights from analysis to create strategies to seize opportunities
● Knowing how Supply, Category, Finance, and Sales interact
● the capacity to inspire and work with multidisciplinary teams
● Building relationships with all key decision-makers is successful.
