UE08 £45,585 to £54,395 pro rata per annum (A revised salary range of £48,350 to £59,421 pro rata is anticipated to take effect in Spring 2024).
CMVM – Edinburgh Medical School / Medical Education
Open-ended, part-time (7 hours per week).
The Opportunity:
Medical Education, a division of the Edinburgh Medical School, is now looking for a Senior Medicine Module Organiser to manage and oversee the MBChB Year 6 Senior Medicine and Assistantship Module, ensuring that our Year 6 students receive a high-quality education.
This position is graded on UE08 (£45,585 to £54,395 pro rata); at the University’s discretion, the selected candidate may be salary matched to the appropriate NHS salary scale, if applicable.
This position is part-time (0.2FTE/7 hours per week), and we are willing to accept flexible working arrangements. We are also willing to evaluate requests for hybrid working (on a non-contractual basis) that includes both remote and on-campus work.
Your abilities and traits for success:
- Has an MBChB or equivalent and is actively working as a specialist in a relevant medical field.
- Experience in medical education, including instructing medical students and conducting assessments.
Demonstrable understanding of current regulatory standards
