We have invested £300 million in our production facility in Chirk, North Wales, during the last three years, with another £200 million planned over the next few years.

Main Duties and Responsibilities.

Kronospan offers exciting opportunities for Mechanical Maintenance Technicians to join our fast expanding engineering team in Chirk, North Wales.

These are full-time, permanent roles with earnings of up to £52,000+, including shift allowance, overtime, and bonuses.

Kronospan can also provide Relocation Assistance (up to £8000), Home Office Employer Sponsorship, and Financial Support for VISA applications.

Day Mechanical Technician Hours: 08.00 – 16.30 (5 days Monday through Friday) Alternatively, you might work from 07.00 to 17.00 (4 days each week, Monday through Friday).
Shift Mechanical Technician Hours: Full Continental 4 on 4 off (06.00 – 18.00 and 18.00 – 06.00).

The role:

• Offering front-line maintenance support to a specific section of our industry-leading plant.

• Lead continuous improvement projects

• Generate new ideas for improving processes.

• Significant engagement in planned preventative and reactive maintenance.

Requirements

The candidates:

• Experienced in manufacturing maintenance

• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering

• A ‘hands-on’ individual with a positive attitude and a ‘can-do’ approach to work
