Job Description:

As the Coffee Shop Manager, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of our coffee shop operations, including staff supervision, customer service, and daily operations management. You’ll also play a key role in promoting the shop, managing finances, and ensuring a consistently high standard of products and service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Team Leadership: Recruit, train, and manage a team of baristas and support staff, creating a positive and productive work environment.
  • Customer Service Excellence: Ensure every customer has an exceptional experience, addressing any issues quickly and professionally.
  • Operations Management: Oversee daily activities, including inventory control, opening and closing procedures, and quality assurance.
  • Sales & Marketing: Develop strategies to drive sales, manage promotional campaigns, and increase customer engagement through social media.
  • Financial Management: Monitor and manage the coffee shop’s budget, including labor costs, inventory, and minimizing wastage.
  • Health & Safety Compliance: Ensure the shop meets all health and safety standards, maintaining a clean, safe environment for staff and customers.
  • Product Development: Collaborate with suppliers to maintain quality standards and introduce new menu items to keep offerings exciting and fresh.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in a management role within the hospitality or retail sector.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Exceptional customer service abilities and a passion for coffee culture.
  • Experience in financial management, including budgeting and forecasting.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations within a food service setting.
  • Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and varying shifts.
