Working Hours:
- Monday to Friday, 8 am – 6 pm (45 hours per week)
- 1 Hour Lunch
- 15-minute morning break
- 15-minute afternoon break
Company Overview:
The employing company specializes in the repair and maintenance of luxury automotive brands, including Land Rover, Mercedes, BMW, Audi, Volkswagen, and Porsche.
Role Overview:
We are seeking a qualified and skilled Vehicle Mechanic to join our team. This role involves diagnosing vehicle faults, performing scheduled maintenance, and ensuring high standards of customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and diagnose vehicle faults.
- Undertake scheduled maintenance and repair work.
- Maintain accurate records of work in progress and completed.
- Test parts and systems to verify functionality.
- Perform basic vehicle care, such as tyre changes and oil services.
- Deliver exceptional customer service.
Candidate Requirements:
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role.
- Formal automotive qualifications are preferred.
- Dealership experience is desirable.
- Proficiency in working with Diesel and Petrol engines.
- Confidence in engine rebuilding, head gasket replacement, and timing chain changes.
- Knowledge of vehicle electrics is advantageous.
- Experience with brands such as Jaguar Land Rover, Mercedes, BMW, VW/Audi, and Porsche.
- A valid UK driving license or international driving permit (conversion assistance available).
- A positive attitude and strong work ethic.
- For applicants outside the UK, the ability to meet Skilled Worker Visa requirements, including IELTS certification.
