JOB DESCRIPTION

 

We are looking for a proactive and analytical Assistant Manager to join our Trade Marketing Retail.com team. The ideal applicant would analyse multiple retail.com accounts to improve operational efficiency and support strategic objectives. This position will contribute significantly to improving our e-commerce penetration and search share by offering actionable data-driven insights and implementing strategic strategies to achieve the necessary results.

 

Job Description:

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide detailed retail.com sales reports weekly, analysing patterns and finding areas for improvement and opportunity, as well as proactive engagement to solve significant issues, trends, drive growth, and support strategies. Used a fact-based approach to analyse the retail.com business and give recommendations on how to pivot to capitalise on consumer search patterns.
  • Analyse and report on the share of search performance for relevant keywords and category pages on a regular basis, providing insights to help discover SEO optimisation prospects. Make recommendations for copy revisions that capitalise on key word trends.
  • Analyse paid media campaign performance on a regular basis to gain actionable insights and optimise campaign strategy for maximum effectiveness. Provide executive summaries of reports to Trade Marketing and Sales leadership, as well as thorough reports.
  • Conduct competitor retail.com evaluations. Regularly report on comparative findings and make recommendations on how to capitalise on successful competitive strategies in the retail.com segment of the business. Execute strategic initiatives to improve our competitive position.
  • Maximise retail.com sales potential by evaluating options for product display page improvements, extending product assortments, and improving ratings and reviews to encourage customer engagement and conversions, resulting in increased household brand penetration.

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Excellent Communication Skills: Effective collaboration with cross-functional teams requires strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Advanced Excel Proficiency: To analyse huge datasets for reporting, you must have a strong command of Excel, including advanced functions and data analytic capabilities. Power BI is preferred.
  • Analytical Aptitude: Analytical skills include the capacity to understand data, extract practical insights, and communicate results.
  • Proactive Problem Solving: The ability to detect problems, provide solutions, and move initiatives forward to achieve goals.

The projected compensation range is:

Hourly wage ranges between 22.75 and 44.50 USD.

Qualifications, education, experience, and location will all be considered when determining actual compensation. The wage range may alter at any time, depending on a variety of internal and external circumstances.
