Position Overview:
As a Pulmonologist, you will have the opportunity to perform a wide range of advanced procedures, including but not limited to EBUS, navigational bronchoscopy, and the full scope of Pulmonary Function Tests (PFT). You will also be actively involved in pulmonary rehab and work alongside a skilled team of professionals, including hospitalists, intensivists, and advanced practice providers.
Key features of this role include:
- Call Rotation: Shared with pulmonologists, critical care, and anesthesia specialists for intensivist coverage.
- ICU Coverage: 24-bed open ICU with 24/7 respiratory therapists (RTs) trained in intubations, airway management, and ventilator care.
- Multispecialty Collaboration: Work alongside cardiothoracic and vascular surgery, gastroenterology, interventional radiology, hematology/oncology, neurology, neurosurgery, and more.
- Advanced Practice Provider: Your team includes an advanced practice provider who shares rounding duties and assists with new consults and clinic management.
- Community Outreach: Participate in outreach clinics to smaller communities, fostering relationships that support referrals and practice growth.
- EPIC EMR System: Utilize a state-of-the-art EMR system for streamlined patient care.
- Academic Affiliation: Collaborate with Creighton University School of Medicine for academic involvement.

- Lucrative compensation package with hourly rates ranging from $201.39 to $219.20/hour.

Qualifications:
- Board Certification: Must be American Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pulmonology or Critical Care.
