Position Overview:

Epic Special Education Staffing is seeking a dedicated School Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) to join an exceptional school district for the 2024-2025 academic year. This full-time position offers an exciting opportunity to work with students ranging from kindergarten to high school, providing vital speech and language support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in implementing individualized education programs (IEPs) for students.
  • Collaborate with speech-language pathologists and other educational staff to provide comprehensive support.
  • Conduct therapy sessions in accordance with the students’ IEP goals.
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and communicate updates with staff and parents.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to the development of student goals.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 1 year of verifiable experience as a School Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (within the last 3 years).
  • Valid SLPA license or credential (or currently in the process) in the state of North Carolina.
  • Authorized to work in the United States (Epic Special Education Staffing is unable to sponsor employment visas at this time).
