Key Responsibilities:

• Service Delivery: Provide comprehensive occupational therapy services in accordance with a physician-approved care plan.
• Care Plan Management: Ensure that all patient needs identified in assessments are addressed within the care plan or provide documentation for any exceptions.
• Safety & Effectiveness: Maintain accountability for the safety and quality of occupational therapy services.
• Accurate Documentation: Complete all patient documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
• Supervision: Supervise home health aides when an RN is not active in the case.
• Collaborative Duties: Perform other tasks as assigned to support the overall success of patient care.

Qualifications:

• Licensing: Current state license to practice occupational therapy.
• Education: Graduate from an accredited Occupational Therapy program recognized by the Accreditation Council for Occupational Therapy Education (ACOTE).
• Certification: Eligible to take or have successfully completed the NBCOT certification exam for Occupational Therapists.
• Experience: Minimum of one year of relevant occupational therapy experience. If less than one year, regional clinical leaders’ approval and participation in a mentoring program are required.
• CPR Certification: Current CPR certification is mandatory.

Salary & Benefits:

• Annual Pay: $81,000 to $145,000, depending on experience and location.
