Job Overview:
Join the Campus Dining Services team as a Part-Time Cashier. This role is crucial in ensuring the accuracy of transactions and maintaining excellent customer service for students, faculty, and staff. You will help facilitate a clean, organized environment while contributing to the campus’ mission of supporting academics, inclusivity, sustainability, and affordability in dining programs. The position offers a flexible schedule between 8:00 AM and 6:00 PM, with a pay rate of $20.00 per hour.
Key Responsibilities:
- Cash Register Operations:
- Accurately handle cashier functions, including making change and completing sales transactions.
- Reporting:
- Complete all required cash register reports in a timely and accurate manner.
- Store Maintenance:
- Assist in maintaining a clean, organized, and sanitary environment in the store.
- Customer Service:
- Provide excellent service to students, staff, and other community members, addressing concerns and providing assistance as needed.
- Restocking:
- Ensure that the store remains fully stocked, restocking items as needed.
- Collaboration: Maintain effective working relationships with other staff members and management.
What We Offer:
- Hourly Rate: $20.00 per hour
- Flexible Schedule: Part-time hours with shifts between 8:00 AM and 6:00 PM.

Requirements:
- Education:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Language Proficiency:
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
- Customer Service Skills:
- Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
- Physical Demands:
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds, push/pull objects, and stand for long periods. Must be able to perform various motor skills such as bending, twisting, and reaching.
- Dependability:
- Punctual, reliable, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexibility:
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
