Position Overview

Samsung is now looking for an Associate Manager, Performance Marketing to join our Performance Marketing team within the Samsung Corporate Marketing organisation. This is a one-of-a-kind chance to support our rapidly expanding eCommerce business in the Home Entertainment and Home Appliances areas. You will work with our Performance Marketing Lead to manage and grow our paid marketing channels to maximise revenue while maintaining appropriate KPIs and ROAS.

Responsibilities:

 

  • Owns the affiliate marketing strategy, which uses data to generate actionable decisions that inform and develop the business.
  • Manages a multi-million dollar budget and discovers areas of opportunity with core publisher partners to expand and extend our programme, which includes loyalty, coupon, influencer, editorial content, and other long-tail affiliate sectors.
  • Achieve tactical and strategic excellence in digital media management by consistently optimising all front- and back-end campaign attributes for optimum direct-response success.
  • For channels, accurately predict revenue, spend, and other KPIs per product category.
  • Continuously examines, onboards, and develops high-growth potential partners.
  • Collaborate closely with PR and influencer teams to incentivize coverage among content partners, including seeding PR briefings and other campaign content.
  • Negotiates larger, corporate arrangements with key publications to help us evolve our affiliate programme.
  • Monitors the creative process to verify that all messages are consistent with brand guidelines.
  • Results are presented to senior management at monthly and quarterly meetings.
  • Collaborate with HQ marketing teams to ensure global best practices are followed, and carry out ad hoc strategic projects and campaigns.
  • Work with Category Managers to prioritise business objectives, offers, and launches across product categories.
  • Collaborate with category Demand Generation teams to align media activity throughout the organisation, standardise measuring and tracking, and promote S.com objectives.
  • Effectively manage agency partners to ensure that resources make the best possible optimisation and execution decisions.
  • Work directly with the Digital Merchandising, Creative Services, and UX teams to improve landing page conversion.
  • Collaborate with engineers to manage, optimise, and debug our Product Feed for best performance and tagging requirements.
  • Prepare monthly and/or quarterly performance summaries.
  • Create ad hoc campaign summaries for cross-functional and executive audiences.
  • Continuously test new creative, offers, ad formats, and landing pages inside existing programmes.
  • Discover and prioritise new ad tech vendors and media partners to test in order to diversify and expand our portfolio.
  • Evangelise the value of S.com income growth and measurement.

 

Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of expertise in online marketing, primarily affiliate marketing, e-commerce, and DTC; Affiliate marketing or other digital marketing experience is required.
  • Experience using products like Commission Junction/Rakuten, Google Affiliate Network, Share-A-Sale, and Linkshare
  • Excellent analytical capabilities, including experience with online and data analysis tools (Adobe Analytics, Tableau).
  • Experience handling multi-million dollar marketing budgets and collaborating with many media
  • Position demands a very detail-oriented and proactive individual driven by outcomes, capable of managing various projects, tasks, and people in a fast-paced setting.
  • Excellent project management and organizational/time management abilities with a focus on detail.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to express clearly and effectively over the phone, via email, and in writing; Must be an active member of a cross-functional team.

 

BA/BS in marketing, communications, e-commerce, merchandising, or similar subject; or equivalent experience is necessary.
