Spanish Language Summer Camp Teacher – Summer 2025
Location: Concordia Language Villages, Minnesota
Employment Type: Seasonal (June–August)
Work Schedule: Up to 7 days/week | 14–16 hours/day including overnight cabin supervision
Salary: Starting at $520/week

About the Role
Are you passionate about Spanish language and culture? Do you love working with teens and spending your summer in the great outdoors? Join us at Concordia Language Villages as a Spanish Language Summer Camp Teacher and help young learners discover the joy of language through full immersion, fun, and friendship.
As part of our vibrant summer program, you’ll teach Spanish, guide cultural activities, live in a cabin with campers, and create lasting memories — all in an immersive environment that feels like a trip abroad, without leaving Minnesota!
Key Responsibilities
- Teach engaging Spanish classes under the guidance of the Credit Facilitator
- Track student progress, complete mid-session and final evaluations
- Live in a cabin with campers (“villagers”) and support their daily experience
- Lead games, cabin activities, and group discussions to build community
- Supervise and join meals with students
- Assist with camp cleaning tasks (cabins, bathrooms, shared spaces)
- Contribute to cultural events, electives, and activity periods
- Collaborate with staff and complete tasks as assigned by camp leadership
What You Bring
- Conversational and written proficiency in Spanish
- Experience teaching the Spanish language and culture
- A Bachelor’s degree or international equivalent
- Experience working with teens aged 14–18
- Enthusiasm, flexibility, and a positive attitude
- Strong interpersonal skills and maturity to support a safe and inclusive environment
Bonus Skills (Preferred, but not required)
- Previous experience at Concordia Language Villages or another summer camp
- Current teaching license
- Professional teaching experience in Spanish
