Position Title: RN
Department: ICU.
Visa sponsorship is available to eligible applicants.
There are multiple shifts available, including part-time and full-time, as well as weekend package options!
Purpose: Provides and directs safe, effective, and culturally competent care to high-risk adolescent and adult patients with current or future life-threatening medical-surgical disorders. Complex assessments, diagnosis, outcome identification, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care using critical thinking and evidence-based practice; providing high-intensity therapies and interventions while providing continuous nursing surveillance; adhering to the ANA Professional Practice Standards; and actively participating in quality monitoring and performance improvement activities are among the key responsibilities.

Supervisory Responsibilities: Direction: The role includes some accountability for scheduling, assigning, and organising tasks. Employees monitor job quality and provide guidance, education, training, and direction to others. Although the position does not involve formal or official supervisory duty, the incumbent serves as group leader or in an informal “assistant supervisory” or “lead” capacity. In addition, the employee may be asked to submit information or ideas on human resources issues.
Materials Responsibility: Limited: The work necessitates limited responsibility for material resources. Resources may include supplies, equipment, stocks, modest budgets, and other similar tangible assets. The employee has limited control over these resources. Errors have a limited cost in terms of damage, waste, and financial loss. Problems with material resources are not complicated. The quantity of resources may vary, but the level of difficulty in dealing with these resources is minimal.

POSITION SPECIFICATIONS
Education: Associate’s degree.
Field of Study: Nursing
Special Training: Basic Life Support, ACLS, and PALS.
Training Preferred: Certified in critical care; Baccalaureate in nursing.
Licensure/Registration: Registered Nurse in Illinois; Registered Nurse in Iowa within one year.
Experience: Less than a year of experience required.
Interpersonal Skills: Interaction occurs with a wide range of persons both inside and outside the organisation. Communications are frequently tough or stressful in nature. Contact with people entails discussing complex, nuanced, and frequently sensitive topics. The profession necessitates strong interpersonal skills in order to cope with a variety of complex problem situations. Interactions need earning the agreement of others.
Working Conditions: Employees are routinely exposed to extremely poor environmental conditions, which include physical hazards, health and safety risks, and other unwanted qualities. Personal dangers necessitate the use of safety equipment or strict adherence to procedures. The employee’s exposure to these conditions is limited to 70% or less of the workday.
