Position Title: Creative Marketing Manager

Job Type: Regular Full-Time, Hourly

5-8 years of marketing experience, with 3+ years in digital marketing, advertising, or a similar industry.

 

Location

Ridgefield Park, New Jersey

Hybrid: Monday-Thursday onsite, Friday remote

Position Summary

A marketing manager’s primary responsibility is to do market research in local, regional, or national locations to determine potential product or service sales. A typical marketing manager is in charge of obtaining information on rivals, marketing strategies, and distribution channels.

Responsibilities

Communication and Product Launch:

  • Create an overall lineup messaging hierarchy (strategies and copy) for specified product categories in collaboration with key stakeholders.
  • Responsible for creating communication guidelines, specification sheets, and other items that will be distributed internally and externally.
  • Prepare, implement, and track product launch materials.
  • Work with legal, brand, and key stakeholders on permissions as needed.

Briefs:

  • Collaborate with the team to create insight-driven and comprehensive creative briefs for agency partners to launch initiatives.

Project Management:

  • Manage internal stakeholders, agency timetables, and deliverables schedules; communicate and coordinate expectations across functions.
  • Effective project leadership and management.
  • Integrate creative concepts and feedback that result in effective campaigns.

Retail In-Store Shopping Experiences:

  • Responsible for the brand’s/category’s retail experience.
  • Co-develops and implements the in-store shopper experience plan with the Sr. Manager.
  • Create POP and graphics materials for shop displays, and manage manufacturing and distribution.

Retail Online Shopping Experiences:

  • Responsible for the experience of the given brand/category(s) on retailer websites.
  • Localise HQ material and/or build new assets for Product Pages as required.
  • Create and/or localise online branded experience content for cross-retailer use.
  • Create online advertisements and other assets to increase brand discoverability on store websites.

Promotions:

  • Create promotional toolkits together with cross-functional teams. Provides communication materials and assets for retailers to implement programmes. Create and track KPIs.

Budget:

  • Responsible for managing the budget, overseeing the procurement process, and ensuring that all vendor payments are secure.

Ad-hoc Projects:

  • Secure insights, create strategies, and carry out ad hoc projects as given.

Performance Standards:

  • Meeting management-aligned goals and KPIs.
  • The effectiveness of materials was assessed by field sales surveys.
  • Projects should be completed on time.
  • The number of rounds of revisions with agencies varies depending on the project.

 

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • 5-8 years of expertise in marketing, brief writing, and collaborating with agencies to create insight-driven creative, plus 3+ years in digital marketing, advertising, or a related profession. Retail marketing expertise is beneficial, but not needed.
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration abilities; demonstrated ability to lead initiatives across many teams.
  • Superior project management skills include the ability to create written plans and timetables, establish objectives, coordinate and oversee project teams, and manage budgets.
  • High levels of confidence, integrity, and passion are appropriate for a fast-paced, dynamic, and proactive organisation.
  • Work individually and actively in a team atmosphere to achieve corporate objectives, as well as personal and team goals, and complete tasks on time and according to specifications.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with a keen eye for detail. Must be able to articulate clearly and effectively over the phone and via email.
  • This role requires excellent PowerPoint and Excel skills.
