Position Summary

For a Maintenance Engineer to join our team at our Nestlé Waters facility in Buxton, we have an excellent opportunity.

We built a cutting-edge production plant in Buxton throughout 2012, and we have centered our supply assurance operations there.

In order to maximize efficiency and productivity, Nestlé manufactures products that are of the highest possible quality and are delivered to customers at the appropriate time and location.

A maintenance engineer’s typical day…

You will be in charge of specializing in factory machinery as a maintenance engineer.

The following duties will also be included:

• Developed plans for both planned and predictive maintenance.

• As you develop into the Subject Matter Expert for your chosen area, assist with breakdowns and take part in line improvements throughout the factory.

• Obey all GMP requirements with regard to equipment, tools, and the environment.

• Encourage and hold your coworkers accountable for upholding all corporate standards.

• Ensure that the Nestlé quality policy is followed, especially with regard to engineering change management and line release.

• Recording breakdowns, identifying the underlying causes, and taking responsibility for the actions that follow.

• Supporting initiatives and techniques related to root cause analysis.

• Assisting both the shift technicians and the apprentice technicians in building their capabilities.

• Assisting and advancing the AM team on-site in accordance with our TPM strategy.

The person who is successful in this position will be motivated to drive production-wide improvement.

• Qualified to NVQ level 3/City & Guilds with Electrical Bias or equivalent, among other qualifications and qualities.

• Several skills are preferred, but an electrical bias is necessary.

• Desirable exposure to blow molding machinery and pressurized air

• The capacity to persuade through effective interpersonal skills.

• Preferably, you will be familiar with a PET environment and have experience with bottling.

• Natural leadership, challenge, and capacity-building abilities.

• The capacity for independent work and cross-level communication.

• Prioritize tasks and manage workload in a hectic setting.

• A thorough understanding of problem-solving techniques like DMAIC and RCA.

Siemens PLCs are desirable.
