Job Description

Summary

Previous care or healthcare experience is required. A Care Givers Certificate would be advantageous. Sponsorship may be available for the right candidates. You will work 42 hours a week.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform personal care.
Perform housekeeping duties, such as preparing food and drinks and laundry.
Help with eating and drinking.
Administer medicines.
Participate and supervise activities.
Maintain a safe environment and equipment.
Maintain suitable detailed records.
Assist with accurate record keeping and verbal reports on residents’ health and welfare.
As a chaperone, it’s important to have strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Report your comments and concerns.
Be respectful, pleasant, and professional.
Implement individualised care plans that align with the Home’s philosophy and aims.
Participate in supervision and training, and complete NVQ Level 2/3 courses.
Support the Team in dealing with medical and other situations.
Participate in meetings and handovers.

To do any such duties as needed that are conducive to the effective and safe operation of the Home and the delivery of appropriate care.

Essential requirements:

Three satisfactory professional references.
