To oversee the delivery of support for the School of the Built Environment & Architecture and ensure that it is done so to the highest standards across its portfolio of architecture, civil & building services engineering, quantity & building surveying, and property & construction management, the university is currently looking for an exceptional technical services manager.

The direct liaison with senior managers and academics to ensure that the school’s delivery needs are understood and met, the effective management of their own team to support, inspire, and develop technical excellence, and the development of strong working relationships with coworkers across the LSBU group will all be crucial components of this role.

You will possess substantial technical expertise for working on and successfully completing projects in a setting such as higher education or the workplace.

You will have acquired significant competence within your own subject and the self-assurance to actively manage and lead technical teams as needed.

Excellent organizational skills and the ability to fluently and cogently communicate complicated material to a range of audiences are also traits you will possess.

Your Bachelor’s degree or prior work experience must have been in a field that closely relates to built environment and architecture.

You’ll have a lot of experience leading teams in senior technical roles and completing tasks on projects of all sizes and levels of complexity.
