Hours: Shift/Nights/Weekends (3 shifts, 12 hours)

What You’ll Do:
We are seeking an enthusiastic Multi-Skilled Engineer to join our dynamic team at the Bury St Edmunds mill. In this role, you will carry out both pre-planned and reactive maintenance on a variety of production machinery, ensuring optimal uptime for the plant. The role will focus on animal feed processing equipment, and experience in a manufacturing environment such as milling or malting would be advantageous.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform pre-planned maintenance tasks on all site machinery.
- Ensure timely execution of reactive maintenance to minimize downtime.
- Conduct electrical fault finding and testing.
- Collaborate with the production team to ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental policies and procedures.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and safety in work areas.
Your Skills & Experience:
- Multi-skilled engineer with an electrical bias.
- Previous experience in a proactive engineering role within a maintenance department.
- Nationally recognized qualifications, including 18th Edition, City & Guilds 2360/2330, and 2382.
- Strong knowledge and experience with electrical energy technology, PLC, and SCADA systems.
- Welding and fabrication experience.
- Familiarity with CMMS systems.
- Counterbalance FLT license.
- Proficient in Word and Excel.
- Full UK driving license.
- Willingness to work in shifts and participate in on-call duties.
