Staff Nurse – Same Day Medical Assessment

The Same Day Medical Assessment unit provides urgent medical care to patients who need same-day assessment, as well as those requiring admission under the care of our expert emergency medical physicians. We are looking for nurses who embody care, compassion, and courage in their nursing practice. As we undergo exciting developments and investments in our nursing structure, including increased medical, therapy, and pharmacy support, we aim to build a truly multidisciplinary team that can provide comprehensive care to our patients.
This is a full-time role (37.5 hours per week), with the possibility of part-time hours for the right candidate.
About the Role:
- Provide high-quality, compassionate, patient-centered care.
- Lead and supervise qualified and unqualified staff within the team.
- Communicate effectively with all levels of the multidisciplinary team.
- Take charge of the unit in the absence of senior nursing staff, as appropriate.
