About the Job

The successful candidate will lead the University’s Schools Liaison and Recruitment team, overseeing the execution of the UK student recruitment strategy and ensuring the achievement of key performance indicators (KPIs) related to school and college engagement.
You will manage activities such as UCAS fairs, delivering higher education and subject-specific sessions in schools and colleges, while building and maintaining a strong network of advisors and gatekeepers in educational institutions across the region and beyond. The role primarily supports recruitment objectives, with careful consideration of the commitments outlined in our Access and Participation Plan.

About You
The ideal candidate will possess a comprehensive understanding of university engagement with schools and colleges, and how these partnerships support students’ aspirations and recruitment efforts.
You will have significant experience providing advice and guidance on university study to schools and colleges, demonstrating how your activities have contributed to student recruitment goals. Additionally, you will have experience organizing and delivering events in school and college settings, as well as supporting university events such as open days.
You should be able to handle multiple tight deadlines, exhibit strong organizational skills, and possess excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Qualifications
Desirable:
- Degree (or equivalent) in business, marketing, event management, customer service, or a related field.
- Relevant formal training and proven experience in a similar role.
- Professional qualification through CAM/CIM or another related professional body.
Faculty/Department
- The Marketing and Student Recruitment team is responsible for promoting the University and its programs. We focus on student recruitment, brand management, reputation building, and developing long-term relationships with schools and colleges across the UK.
