Healthcare Assistant (Band 3) – West Cornwall Renal Unit
We are excited to announce an opportunity to join the expanding renal services team at the West Cornwall Renal Unit. We are looking for a highly motivated Healthcare Assistant (Band 3) to support our dedicated and hardworking team in delivering outstanding patient care.
As part of the renal team, you will provide crucial support for patients undergoing haemodialysis. No prior experience is necessary, as we offer full training and continuous support to help you thrive in this role. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a caring attitude, strong communication skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with patients and colleagues in a small team environment.
We are open to applications for both full-time and part-time hours.
Key Responsibilities:
Contribute to the delivery of optimal care for patients with end-stage renal disease undergoing haemodialysis.
Gain a broad understanding of the complex needs of renal patients.
Assist the team in delivering high-quality service by maintaining a thorough knowledge of patient care and service requirements.
Prepare haemodialysis machines and trolleys based on individual patient prescriptions.
