Training Leader Opportunity

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Training Leader to join our team. Reporting to the Engineering Leader, the successful candidate will manage the training team and ensure the competency of individuals in line with Part 145 requirements, alongside other key training deliverables.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and deliver comprehensive training content across the business, ensuring that Managers, Planners, Supervisors, Mechanics, Specialised Service Staff, Support Staff, and Certifying Staff are equipped to demonstrate competency and understand their responsibilities in accordance with Part 145.

Lead a team of technical trainers responsible for delivering required content, including both hands-on and classroom training.

Achieve key performance indicators (KPIs) for the Training Team and align training objectives with broader business goals.

Ensure accurate and timely completion of training documentation and record-keeping, complying with company procedures and regulatory standards.

Analyze course feedback and develop plans to enhance the effectiveness of training programs.

Perform people leader duties, including coaching, mentoring, and providing support to individuals and teams, as well as handling administrative tasks and facilitating daily communication within the department.

Foster a culture of continuous improvement, problem-solving, and the adoption of Lean principles.

Collaborate with the Quality team during root cause investigations of issues or incidents.

Provide leadership and guidance across site activities, including maintaining the existing FLIGHT DECK structure.

Qualifications and Requirements:

Demonstrated leadership in promoting a positive culture surrounding Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost while embodying GE’s leadership values of Humility, Transparency, Focus, and Integrity.

Engineering qualification or equivalent relevant technical experience.

Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with all levels of the workforce.

Proven ability to motivate, mentor, and coach employees.
