Essential Criteria:
Ability to demonstrate alignment with the Trust’s values
Education & Qualifications:
Educated to A level or equivalent
Strong written and spoken English skills
Experience:
Awareness of NHS targets, particularly regarding waiting times
Experience in working within a clinical/multi-disciplinary team
Desirable Criteria:
Experience with admissions and waiting list management
Previous NHS administration experience
Experience handling complaints
Skills and Aptitudes:
Experience using EPR or similar electronic patient administration systems
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general computer literacy
Proven track record in customer care (face-to-face, by phone, and in writing)
Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and use initiative
Accuracy in entering, maintaining, and analyzing data in electronic systems
Other Criteria:
Understanding of the Data Protection Act
Desire to learn, develop, and grow within the role
Additional training or qualifications related to administration or computer skills are a plus
Personal Qualities:
Ability to manage challenging or conflict situations effectively
Works well in an administrative team to deliver high-quality service to patients and staff
Demonstrates a proactive, “can-do” approach to problem-solving
Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with staff at all levels, from diverse professional backgrounds
