SEBI-Livestock (hereinafter SEBI-L) is a dynamic and inventive institution tasked with enhancing livestock data and evidence in low- and middle-income countries to enable more informed decision-making. We provide essential data and monitoring services to the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation (BMGF) to help them track their livestock investments. In addition, we organise a huge livestock data network, Livestock Data for Decisions (LD4D), to help achieve common aims.
The position of Researcher (Livestock Insights & Modelling) will be part of the Insights and Modelling Group, assisting SEBI-L in developing and improving decision-support models. This will entail improving the evidence base for cattle health and production by assessing existing sources of evidence (for example, literature and systematic reviews). This evidence base will generate datasets to support mathematical models as well as provide insights to decision makers (such as the BMGF). The position holder will also create manual outputs to assist in the development of SEBI-L’s automatic systematic mapping tool, LitXpress. This position is ideal for a hardworking and service-oriented individual with exceptional attention to detail.
This position is full-time (35 hours per week); however, we are willing to accept flexible working arrangements. We are also open to requests for hybrid working arrangements, which combine remote and on-campus employment.

- Excellent planning and tracking abilities, as well as a keen eye for detail.
As a respected part of our team, you should expect:
- A competitive pay starts at £37,099, depending on experience.
- A stimulating, cheerful, creative, demanding, and gratifying environment to work.
- To be a member of a diverse and thriving worldwide community.
