The Old Courthouse in Cheltenham is looking for a talented and passionate Head Chef to lead its kitchen team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who values creativity, teamwork, and delivering exceptional dining experiences. The restaurant operates in a stunning Grade II-listed building designed in the 19th century, offering a unique environment that celebrates both tradition and innovation in British cuisine.

As Head Chef, you will oversee kitchen operations, menu design, and food presentation while ensuring consistency and quality across every dish. You’ll also mentor your team, foster a supportive work culture, and play a key role in driving the restaurant’s culinary vision forward.

What We’re Looking For

You should have proven experience as a Head Chef, Kitchen Manager, or Senior Sous Chef in a high-volume, fresh food environment. Strong leadership, creativity, and organisational skills are essential. You’ll manage stock, budgets, and labour efficiently while working closely with the Pub Manager to achieve shared goals.
