Job Summary
Location: Langford View Care Home, Bicester, Oxfordshire
Pay Rate: £22.97 per hour (Mon-Fri), £23.97 per hour (Weekends)
Contracted Hours: 43.75 hours per week
Shift Pattern: One week four shifts (06:45-19:15), one week three shifts (06:45-19:15), alternating weekends
About the Role

As a key member of our team, you will lead and manage care staff to ensure the highest standards of nursing and personal care are provided. You’ll deliver, monitor, and reassess care plans in collaboration with residents, their families, and healthcare professionals. Your role will encompass clinical leadership and guidance, ensuring seamless communication with GPs, hospitals, and external agencies.
Our care home specializes in high-quality residential, nursing, dementia, and respite care for up to 60 residents in a serene and welcoming environment. This role promises a rewarding experience, with opportunities for skill development and career growth.

About You
We are looking for a Registered General Nurse or Registered Mental Health Nurse with an active NMC registration. Ideal candidates will have post-registration experience and a commitment to continuous professional development. You should be comfortable working independently and knowledgeable about regulatory frameworks.
Experience or willingness to train in:
- Medication administration
- Catheterisation
- End-of-life care
- Verification of death
- Syringe drivers
- Gastrostomy care
- Venepuncture
- Diabetic awareness
- Tissue viability
- Epilepsy awareness
- Sepsis awareness and management of deterioration
You should be a positive role model with excellent communication skills, capable of fostering strong working relationships. Your leadership will inspire the team to deliver exceptional care.
