This position holder will work in community settings or at the individual’s home to educate people with disabilities fundamental daily living skills such as shopping, food preparation, cooking, and independent travel, allowing them to live independently.
You will work in a team responsible for activity in the Fylde and Wyre Lancashire districts, but may need to cover other areas to fulfil business demands. Flexibility is essential. Business mileage is paid.
You must have solid communication skills and be able to plan and work to targets and timelines outlined in an enablement strategy.

If you are successful, you will need to apply to the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) for a ‘disclosure’. More information can be found under the ‘Our Recruitment Process’ tab.
The post holder will be needed to furnish an automobile for usage in connection with the duties of this position, which must be insured for business purposes. However, we may consider you if you are unable to drive due to a disability.
