As a Support Worker at LDC Care Co, no two days are alike. You will assist our service users with a variety of hobbies and interests, such as going on vacation, pampering days, attending events, going to the movies, theme parks, or spending the day shopping.

As a Support Worker with LDC Care Co, you will be trained to offer high-quality care throughout our comprehensive two-week introduction training at Head Office, but your education will not end there. LDC Care Co is committed to lifelong learning, with its own LDC Academy and opportunities to advance your career in social care.
If you are seeking for a rewarding job in social care, this could be the right option for you.

About Us:

LDC Care Co. specialises in providing help to very complex adults. The company is family-owned and has been in existence for over 25 years, employing about 430 people and expanding throughout East Kent, offering specialist care in over 60 residential homes and supported living facilities.
At LDC Care Co, we believe that offering the best person-centered support creates the best opportunity for accomplishing life objectives and personal milestones, and this has been our motto since 1999.

Everything we do revolves on our four core values: C A R E (commitment, accountability, respect, and excellence). They serve as the basis upon which everything else is built, and they have played an important role in shaping our company into what it is today.
We have multiple ‘Outstanding’ ratings from the Care Quality Commission (CQC). We are proud of our capacity to give high-quality care to people who have failed to maintain other mainstream placements or have spent time in secure settings, and then reintegrate them into the larger community to pursue social, personal, or occupational development opportunities.
The person

Ideally, you should have previous experience working in care settings and helping persons with similar requirements.
You may already have professional qualifications in the care field and desire to advance your career.
Alternatively, you could be brand fresh and want to start a career in social care.

The most important thing we want to see from you is that you are a kind and compassionate person with strong ethical beliefs who can support others through good and terrible times. Working in care can be challenging, but the rewards are enormous.
