Job Summary
The BSOL Procurement Collaborative (BSOLPC), hosted by University Hospitals Birmingham NHS Foundation Trust (UHB), offers procurement and supply chain services to UHB, Birmingham Women’s and Children’s NHS Foundation Trust, Royal Orthopaedic Hospital NHS Foundation Trust, Birmingham Community Healthcare NHS FT, and Birmingham & Solihull Mental Health NHS FT.
The procurement team supports the delivery of high-quality patient care while guaranteeing value for money through compliance processes, as well as contributing to the formulation and effective delivery of the Procurement Strategy, which drives quality and value across the BSOLPC.
The Trust is searching for a proactive, self-motivated, and ambitious Procurement Category Manager to join its team.
The post is based at Regent Court Birmingham, but you may be asked to visit or work at any of the BSOL PC sites as needed.
This is a specialty role within BSOL PC, and the post holder will be in charge of collaborative procurement and supply chain projects across all BSOL Trusts.
Excellent project management expertise, abilities that encourage stakeholder engagement, and the ambition and vision to complete challenging and complicated projects.
Using a variety of analytical methods, identify and develop prospective opportunities to achieve efficiency and cost savings goals.

- Experience working in the NHS and knowledge of current concerns.
