About your new role.
A revenue-generating role that involves selling products to both new and existing customers. To aid in the development of an appropriate sales lifecycle for legal software products, as well as the selling of other legal services goods as needed. The things you’ll be required to market will be brand new to the firm and, in many cases, the industry. You will receive updates on goods that are in the various phases of development.
Prospecting:
- Prospect new clients using innovative tactics to create a pipeline of qualified leads for marketing and sales.
- Cold-calling to generate new business and prospects to establish a pipeline of marketing and sales qualified leads.
- Attend appropriate events to network and position products to the target audience.
- Collaborate with internal teams to create a pipeline of prospects inside our current client portfolio, including upselling and cross-selling within the business.
- Highly proficient in excellent exploration and questioning skills.
Creating sales proposals
- That are commercial, have effective influence, sell the Weightman’s business, and can lead to a good negotiation.
- Ability to follow up with all prospects.
Negotiating:
- Negotiate with actual commercial acumen, holding margin and value and not necessarily bargaining on price within acceptable pricing limitations determined on a product-by-product basis, which may alter from time to time.
- To create opportunities to upsell and develop the most client-focused bundle for them.
Closing:
- Close all prospects based on mutually agreed-upon targets and market conditions.
Service behaviours:
- To reflect best practice service habits for the relevant client, including appropriate check-ins.
Reporting and measurement
- Objectives and major tasks for ensuring product authenticity, working with parameters.
- This position entails ongoing growth and mentorship.
- General activity and productivity will be rewarded with an agreed-upon bonus structure.
Other tasks
- Collaborate closely with the Product Manager to gather feedback from prospects throughout the sales cycle on price, functionality, and product enhancements.
- Work closely with the Product Owner and Product Specialist to obtain the assistance you require to market technical items and show them to clients.
- To aid in mentoring junior sales colleagues.

About You
Ideally, you will have previous experience working in a similar job and setting.

- Experience in all parts of the sales lifecycle.
- Prospecting entails prospecting and managing sales across a defined product lifecycle.
- Strong bargaining and closing skills.
- Excellent time management and organising skills.

- Understand sales from the customer’s perspective.
- Sales confidence and resilience – ability to deal with knockbacks
- Excellent relationship development, written and verbal communication skills.
- Capable of building good relationships with teammates, prospects, and clients.
- Able to mentor more junior sales colleagues.
