Job Description

Clinical Trials Pharmacy Technician – Band 5/6 Posts

We are currently recruiting for three Clinical Trials Pharmacy Technician posts (Band 5/6), including two fixed-term positions (one in oncology and one in non-oncology) and one substantive non-oncology position, which is advertised separately. Depending on your previous clinical trials experience, we will offer either a Band 5 or Band 6 role. Band 5 staff will progress to Band 6 upon successful completion of defined competencies, with full training provided.

Interviews for all posts will be combined, and we welcome duplicate applications. If you are interested in both the substantive and fixed-term roles, please ensure that you apply for at least the substantive post to be considered for either position.

If you have any questions about the application process, please don’t hesitate to reach out. Full details of the role, including key duties and responsibilities, are included in the attached Applicant Information Packs (combined Job Description and Person Specification).

Important Notes:

– Internal applicants on permanent contracts must apply for this post as a secondment and must have prior approval from their current line manager.
– If you require sponsorship for a visa to work in the UK, please review the GOV.UK guidelines to ensure you are not applying from a Red List country.
