Job Summary
A Commercial Surveyor is needed by the Property Services division to join our busy group. This multifaceted function will be essential in helping the group manage the university’s portfolio of investment properties.
About 300 residential rentals, business rentals (including offices, retail, industrial, storage, leisure, agricultural, and telecoms towers), and more than 1,000 acres of land with an asset value above £150 million are all included in the portfolio.
The portfolio of investment properties will be under the commercial surveyor’s commercial supervision. A few examples of proactive asset and property management are:
● Creating and putting into practice the commercial strategy
● Property marketing, negotiating, and leasing
● Event management for leases (rent reviews, lease renewals etc)
● Budget management for service fees
● responsibilities related to commercial property management
