Job Description
About the Role
As a Care Assistant at HC-One, kindness is at the heart of everything you do. You’ll recognise that every resident is an individual with their own unique story, and you’ll be dedicated to supporting them to live with dignity, comfort, and respect.
Joining HC-One is an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in people’s lives every day. We’re currently seeking an enthusiastic, committed Care Assistant to join our team. Our focus is always on delivering the highest quality care.
In this role, you’ll take responsibility for supporting the physical, emotional, and social wellbeing of our residents. Your day-to-day duties will include assisting with personal care such as washing, dressing, personal hygiene, and mealtime support.
You’ll deliver care that truly comes from the heart, ensuring each resident maintains their dignity, individuality, and sense of purpose. Whether you’re helping someone with limited mobility adapt to a new aid, providing reassurance to a confused or distressed resident, or caring for someone at the end of their life, you’ll always put their wellbeing first.
Safeguarding is a vital part of this role. You’ll be able to recognise the signs of potential abuse, harm, or neglect in all their forms and know how to take appropriate action. All colleagues complete safeguarding training and have access to additional development in this area. You will be confident in seeking advice, reporting concerns, and escalating when necessary to keep residents safe.
