Your job responsibilities

For our Unilin Insulation production plant, we are seeking for a maintenance technician:

Competitive salary (DOE) plus shift allowance and pension.
Shifts are 4 x 10.5 hours each week, including Saturdays.
There is potential to transition to a continental shift pattern of three 12-hour shifts per week.
A Maintenance Technician is needed for a specialised manufacturer of building products. The employer has a new building and is looking to form a new team.
The ideal Maintenance Technician will be a multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer with prior experience working in a manufacturing environment. Candidates with an electrical or mechanical bias are encouraged to apply. Those from high-volume manufacturing will have an advantage.

The Maintenance Technician’s Role:

• Separate PPM and reactive maintenance.
• Project work includes CI and installation tasks.
• Troubleshoot and repair all factory equipment, including electrical, electronic, pneumatic, and mechanical.
• Identify the underlying causes of problems and provide process modifications for long-term resolution.
• Ensure maximum production efficiency and a rapid return to full capacity.
• Make sure that all breakdowns are logged in the CMMS system.
• Responsible for maintaining a safe, clean working environment and carrying out tasks in a safe manner, ensuring that safety criteria are satisfied.

A Successful Maintenance Technician:

• Experience with Manufacturing Maintenance, preferably in FMCG.
• Ideally multi-skilled. Candidates with an electrical or mechanical bias are encouraged to apply.
