In Lincoln, we are searching for an Account Manager to join our commercial team.
You will be part of a team that serves the entire county of Lincolnshire, from Skegness to Newark, as well as all in between and nearby areas. since an Account Manager, your primary responsibility will be to grow and manage a region with high potential, since this position will focus on certain LN Postcodes.

As an Account Manager, you will reflect Bauer Media’s values and push Bauer’s company strategy and goals to a high degree in the commercial industry within specified limitations and timetables. Taking on personal revenue responsibility for some existing customers within your area, as well as prospecting for new clients, in order to boost revenues across the specific LN postcodes, as well as the larger Bauer portfolio of radio brands, sponsorships, creative, and digital goods.
Our Team
Representing Bauer Audio UK in Lincolnshire and Newark for Lincs FM and the wider Bauer portfolio of digital brands such as Greatest Hits Radio, Magic, Absolute, Kiss, and many more. You will be a member of a highly successful and motivated local team. Working inside a specified postcode territory and ultimately accountable for your own piece of the earth – looking for new business, advising existing clients on the ideal Bauer brands and products to help their business succeed.
You’ll get to work with some of the top creative minds in the industry and experience what it’s like to be part of a successful work family that thrives on doing a great job for their clients and Bauer. We are looking for the appropriate person to round out our team and help us maintain our success while being helpful, personable, and values-driven.
This position will need a combination of home, field and office work. The position is linked to our Lincoln offices.
What you intend to do
Everything we do revolves around our advertising clientele. As an Account Manager, you’ll be responsible for attracting and winning new clients as well as developing our existing client portfolio, all while feeling fully supported.
You will be in charge of:
Putting Bauer’s commercial strategy into action
Increasing group revenues in your specific market and across the Bauer portfolio
Keeping track of advertising inventory and pricing
Creating important internal and external customer ties
Meeting personal and team revenue goals
What You’re Going to Bring
Communication abilities: You will have great communication abilities, which will be particularly useful in facilitating effective communication between internal and external partners.When it comes to writing reports and developing presentations for clients, team members, sales management, and key stakeholders, the Account Manager must be able to communicate effectively.
You must be able to tailor messages to the specific audience and communicate even the most complex information in clear, easy, digestible, and convincing language. These abilities must be outstanding in both written and verbal communication.
technical: You should have a strong understanding of technical systems and programmes, as well as the capacity to learn and adapt fast when necessary.
You should be fluent in MS Office and be able to create visually and vocally engaging reports and presentations for your customers, senior sales management, sales teams, and all key stakeholders.
Analytical Skills: You should be interested in performing research and gaining data-driven insights.
The ideal candidate will be well-versed in the company’s product line as well as typical strategic, analytical, and marketing ideas.
A qualified applicant for this job will also have a thorough awareness of the company’s marketplace models, as well as the opportunities and constraints that come with them.
Interpersonal Skills: As an Account Manager, you will need to have specific interpersonal skills that promote openness and trust both internally and outside.
You will be self-motivated, possess a strong entrepreneurial spirit, be adaptive to variations in business growth, operate easily and effortlessly in group situations, be a persuasive and charismatic individual, thrive in a fast-paced atmosphere, and perform well under pressure.
The chosen candidate must also be able to maintain calm under pressure and in the face of uncertainty.
Leadership/People Skills: You must be able to display effective people skills, as well as the ability to move and inspire internal and external customers in a united direction through vision and understanding.
As a business representative, you must be personable and capable of forming strong and long-lasting relationships both within and externally on behalf of the company.
Account Managers must be results-oriented and be able to have a track record of exceeding both personal and team income targets.
