Engineer, Mechanical & Electrical- Park Royal & Harbour Exchange Sites

Responsibilities:

 

  • You will be responsible for the facility infrastructure maintenance in this crucial function.

 

  • You will conduct site inspections and monitor building and datacenter alarms.

 

  • You ensure that preventative maintenance on site infrastructure is carried out (e.g., primary infrastructure maintenance) or is done by vendors under your supervision, and you manage the permit to work system.

 

  • You can do repairs and corrective maintenance on equipment.

 

  • You will also be responsible for preparing and carrying out planned maintenance in this capacity.

 

  • Completion of site logs and data collection, including MOPs and scripts, are critical components of this position.

 

  • You will help more senior staff respond to all on-site occurrences and will act as requested.

 

  • Based on your expertise and experience, you may request to begin reacting to simple occurrences.

 

  • Basic work requests and circuit installations are completed.

 

  • Participates in ongoing infrastructure construction projects

 

  • Carry out minor construction tasks such as lighting upgrades, etc.

 

 

Requirements:

 

  • You hold a degree, an ONC, a BTEC, an NVQ, or an equivalent qualification in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.

 

  • You have prior hands-on engineering experience, ideally in a critical facilities context.

 

  • Comprehensive understanding of essential infrastructure, such as UPS, generators, BMS, chillers, and life safety systems

 

  • You are self-driven and adaptable.
