The Night Manager is responsible for supervising all property operations throughout the evening shift as the Property Manager on Duty. ensures that during the overnight shift, the finest standards of hospitality and service are offered. represents property management in addressing any situation involving guests or property. personally supporting the completion of duties and the resolution of any concerns.

How you’ll do
● process room assignments, check-ins for visitors, and key activation
● Track the readiness of the rooms for check-in in coordination with housekeeping, and report any issues with the guests.
● Respond to all visitor calls, messages, queries, and concerns; and handle them.
● Provide information to visitors about the property and nearby points of interest.
● Handle checkouts and settle any disputed charges.
● Cashing personal and traveler’s checks from visitors as well as processing payments and room charges
● Run daily reports on the number of arrivals and departures, and confirm reservations and cancellations.
● Oversee the night staff and report to the manager of the front office or rooms division.

● Helps the receivables clerk with every element of their duties and ensures that all bills are paid within 60 days.
● ensures that the supervisor promptly investigates and processes all chargebacks and rebates.
● implements strategies and measures to minimize chargebacks and rebates.
● Monitors overage/shortages and makes sure all staff are following proper cash handling standards.

● identifies and implements action plans with the property leadership team to stop the recurrence of guest complaints.
